Hiiiii, it's ME.

Hiiii, it’s ya girl. The Mac N’ Cheese fanatic, plant obsessed, sunset chasing photographer. I know I have an about me page, but I figured I’d use this blog to dive in a little deeper. Just in case you’re curious!

I know, I know. I talk about Mac N’ Cheese about every other sentence. It has been a staple meal my entire life. My family jokes it’s about all that I know how to cook… they aren’t far off.

On to my other love - PLANTS. This is a new found passion of mine. When Chris and I moved into our apartment a year ago, I bought a plant to hang as decoration. Fast forward and now I own 25 plants! It’s been a process of learning and killing many along the way. There just is no way to describe the excitement I feel when I see my plants sprouting new growth. & Yes, I name them all. If you follow me on instagram, you will notice my stories consist of allll my plant adventures - good and bad.

Christopher. I suppose I should introduce him ;)

He slid into my instagram DMs. We had known of each other for many years but our paths had never crossed. We had never spoke and this man was straight and to the point, “Would you like to go to coffee sometime?.” My response? “I don’t like coffee, but I will drink a hot chocolate like a child.” The rest was history. Our first date turned into an all day shindig. Between that beard and his crazy talented guitar playing, what’s not to love? He’s recently gotten into videography and I can not be more excited to see where this journey takes him!

Meet Focus (left) and Ridge (right). They are still working on loving each other. I never thought I would be a crazy cat lady, but here we are.

Focus is 5. She is pretty much over my shit. She is very similar to me in many ways. Chris calls her my spirit animal because her two concerns are eating and sleeping- HA. She’s a lover when she wants to be and the biggest brat the rest of the time but, I gotta love her.

Ridge is our newest addition. He is only 3 months old. We found him living under a cabin on our trip in Kentucky. He immediately stole our hearts with his sweet nature. As you can see, he is still SUPER rambunctious and it’s been a change having his spunky self in our home. Again, my instagram stories are fillled with these two but I can’t help it.

Last but not least, photography! It wouldn’t be a blog about myself if I didn’t mention it. A lot of people ask me how long I’ve been doing photography and I always reply “my whole life.” It’s true. I am very fortunate to of always known this was the path I wanted to take even back in middle school. I never had a backup plan because I was determined to make it work. Which is one of the biggest reasons I am SOOOO thankful for each and every person who invests in my passion. I have an associates degree in Digital Photography. About a year after I graduated, I dove head first into being a full time photographer and have never looked back. I FREAKIN’ LOVE IT!

Don’t let these nice images fool you. I am writing this in my pj’s at 1:30pm. I’ll probably have my mom proof read this because I’m 25 and suck at grammar. I also can’t tell my left from my right. I often fall during sessions because I’m a klutz and I’ll have a panic attack if I see a spider. It is what it is. Anywho, that’s meeee.

I’d love to get to know you! Head over to the contact form and let’s chat!
